About Me

I have studied singing at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and have since continued my studies with Anne Williams-King.

I have worked for various opera companies including English National Opera, Covent Garden Festival Opera, D’Oyle Carte Opera Company and Nottingham Festival Opera. Roles include:
Mistress Quickly (Falstaff), Frugola/Principessa/Zita (Il Trittico), Auntie (Peter Grimes), Marcellina (Le Nozze di Figaro), Amneris (Aida), Jezibaba (Rusalka), Waltraute & Schwertleite (Die Walküre) and Katisha (The Mikado) amongst others.

I also enjoy a varied Oratorio and Concert repertoire which includes:
Petite Messe Solenelle (Rossini), Messiah (Handel), St John Passion (Bach), St Matthew Passion (Bach), Elijah (Mendelssohn), Jeptha (Handel), Requiem (Verdi), Sea Pictures (Elgar).

I am a past winner of the Wagner Bayreuth Bursary.
